I’ve always been envious of crafty people – not the plotting kind of crafty, but the kind of crafty that can concoct something wonderful out of random pieces.</p>
<p>Lauren Williams of Bellingham is the very best kind of crafty. The evidence is in the one-off sweaters she makes for Four Starrs Boutique, 960 Harris Ave. Each sweater is a little something different, adorned with fabric birds, sequins or cut-outs made from remnants of vintage knits. The sweaters are available for $59, so pick one up while you can.</p>
